AVIVA FemTite Scarless Labiaplasty is life changing for women who are self-conscious or unhappy with the way their genital area appears. The two main reasons for having this procedure are discomfort and aesthetics. Many women feel discomfort or irritation when wearing tight clothing, having sexual relations, playing sports or even just exercising. Other women just want to look “prettier down there.” Many women are born with large or irregular labia, while others develop this condition after childbirth or with aging. Traditionally, labiaplasty surgery has been performed under general anesthesia in a hospital setting. The surgical procedure required cutting away the excess tissue, requiring stitches, several days of recovery, post surgical care and a lengthy break from sexual activity. But our FemTite procedure dramatically reduces the recovery time, uses a local anesthetic and requires no stitches. It’s easy, safe and gives women back the peace of mind about their genital appearance.
What Is The Technology Behind AVIVA FemTite?
FemTite is different because it uses RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) to address some of the shortcomings associated with traditional surgical labiaplasty. Dr. Imtiaz uses energy both internally and on the surface to tighten skin layers as it removes unwanted bulky tissue. This eliminates the need to cut away tissue, leaving the patient with stitches and small scars. FemTite is a safe and effective treatment with over 20 peer reviewed publications for other types of procedures. Dr. Imtiaz’s procedure is being followed by Harvard Medicine, Inmode Corporation and other physicians around the world.
How Is FemTite Different From Other Surgical Procedures?
Until AVIVA FemTite, there really was not any other non-surgical solutions that could dramatically reduce the size of the labia. Performed under mild sedation, FemTite permanently extracts unwanted thickness through small incisions sites and then tightens and shrinks the tissue using the power of radio frequency. Because the tissue is immediately eliminated, it is a true form of reduction. The results can be seen instantly and are permanent with most patients back at work within 1-2 days. Patients usually only require one treatment per area. FemTite improves over a period of a few months. The full extent of the results take up to 12 weeks to be visible.
What Are The Risks?
Unlike a surgical procedure that requires cutting away labia tissue, FemTite shrinks the tissue, thereby eliminating many of the surgical risks that come with a traditional surgical labiaplasty with incisions. While you may have a light irritation in the first few days after your treatment, it is highly unlikely that you will have the common side effects of surgical labiaplasty, such as lingering pain, dryness, bleeding, scaring, or loss of sensitivity.
How Quickly Will You See Results With FemTite?
Results can be seen immediately, with best results noticeable after 3-6 months.
How Should I Plan For My Procedure?
Labiaplasty may make some women feel anxious about the outcome of their surgery. As a board-certified (gynecological) surgeon, Dr. Imtiaz is uniquely qualified to perform labiaplasty, so you can feel at ease about your decision for labiaplasty. You may want to plan to have a couple of days off work – or plan around a period when your time is flexible. Depending on the treatment area, downtime can be from 1-2 days up to 10 days. When we discuss your treatment plan, we’ll help you estimate your necessary time away from work. Because FemTite tightens loose skin as it eliminates excess tissue, you will likely love your new shape even more than you ever imagined!
Are There Other Procedures That Use This Technology?
Yes! Femtite has two counterparts, BodyTite and FaceTite. All three are remarkable procedures that can be combined with Fractora skin resurfacing, Botox® and other procedures we provide to complement your complete look.
