*Q: I am interested in having one of the procedures, can you explain more about it? A: Because we offer numerous services it is hard to respond to a general question such as this. We have made every attempt to include a comprehensive description of the procedures in this website to assist you in identifying and determining your concerns and interests.
*Q: I have had a child or a number of children and since then things just don't feel the same in my vagina and sex is not gratifying. I have tried kegels and that does not work. Will Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation work for me? A: Many women have the same problem as you and often share your concerns about self consciousness and lack of sexual gratification due to vaginal relaxation. LVR is a modification of a standard gynecological procedure. The laser is used during this procedure to perform exact and aesthetically precise incisions to achieve optimal results. The techniques we have developed result in a relatively bloodless procedure that can be performed on an outpatient procedure with minimal discomfort. This procedure will enhance vaginal muscle, tone, strength, and control. It will effectively decrease both the internal and external diameters (the introitus) of the vagina as well as the perineal body (the group of muscles between the lower opening of the vagina and the anus. It will also increase frictional force of the vagina, therefore, improving sexual gratification. In addition, these procedures will result in a more youthful appearance of the external structures.
*Q: I have had several children. I have vaginal relaxation and I loose urine when I cough or sneeze. This is very embarrassing. Can you fix this at the same time? A: The problem you describe is often a symptom of stress urinary incontinence. We can further evaluate this problem with various tests. Often LVR is all that is necessary to fix mild stress incontinence. If you have severe incontinence, we can fix this with a separate procedure at the time of your vaginal surgery.
